The 2026 edition of the Newport Charter Show 2026 is gearing up to open its doors on June 22nd. One of the preeminent charter events in North America, the Newport Charter Show brings together some of the industry’s best brokers, captains, owners, and crew for four days of festivities. The jam-packed social calendar, alongside an impressive showcase of superyachts, makes it the perfect start to the New England charter season.
The Newport Charter Show 2026
The Newport Charter Yacht Show has been a prominent event in the North American yacht show for four decades, since its launch in 1982. This exclusive trade-only event will run from June 22 to 25 at Safe Harbour Newport Shipyard, where industry insiders get the first peek at this year’s fleet, charter experiences, and emerging trends.

The event calendar is packed with on-board yacht viewings, chef tastings, cocktail-making contests, deck-captain events, and fun competitions that showcase yacht hospitality. That is exactly what the industry loves about the Newport Charter Yacht Show. It offers the best selection of superyachts with a perfect blend of personality and charter culture. With that in mind, we can’t wait to see the yachts that will soon grace blue waters, and among this year’s fleet, three yachts stand out for very different reasons.
Can’t-Miss Superyachts
M/Y Lady Beth | 55m | Fraser

At 55 metres, with six suites comfortably fitting 12 guests, the Lady Beth is currently the largest yacht confirmed to join the Newport Charter Yacht Show 2026. Although this luxury vessel has been entertaining multigenerational charters and larger family groups since 2011, it still remains fairly new to many brokers attending the event. Those familiar with it may want to take another look around her deck given its 2020 refit.
Highlights particularly worth seeing include the infinity-edge Jacuzzi, beach club, panoramic sky lounge, and an elevator that provides access to all interior decks. Of course, as any superyacht worth its salt, it also has an extensive toy inventory. Presented by Fraser, Lady Beth will surely be a popular addition to the fleet. That comes as no surprise, given that it was built by Newcastle Shipyards and features wonderful interior design by Claudette Bonville.
M/Y Avalon | 46m | IYC

The Avalon is the ideal yacht for charterers looking for adventure without sacrificing comfort and style. Brought to us by the renowned International Yacht Company (IYC), the Avalon was recently refitted in 2024 with new rich interiors by Jean Claude Canestrelli and Chris Brown Design Group. Its five cabins are perfect for relaxation after a day of island-hopping, while the refit also refreshed the 13-metre Jupiter tender and its expansive guest areas, accommodating up to 12 guests with ease.
Built by the Delta Marine Group, Avalon has gained a strong reputation in the charter market for luxury comfort while maintaining performance. Days can be spent aboard lounging by the bar and jacuzzi on the expansive sundeck, and the optional sportfishing programme is a unique highlight of the superyacht.
M/Y Back Nine and a Half | 37m | ISA Yachts

Built by ISA Yachts and presented by Fraser, Back Nine and a Half is a sleek performance yacht internationally recognised for winning the Millennium Yacht Design Award for its perfect combination of refined design and cutting-edge technology. Its elegant interiors, designed by Andrea Vallicelli, feature a cream-grey colour palette that is soft on the eyes and a nice contrast to its sporty Italian exterior styling.
With five staterooms, including a full-beam master suite, Back Nine and a Half can accommodate up to 10 guests. Originally launched in 2017, it recently underwent a refit in 2024, making it one of the must-see yachts on the dock. Its maximum speed of 34 knots supports both high speed and excellent indoor-outdoor living, along with onboard amenities such as a hot tub, alfresco dining, and a panoramic sundeck.

The Charter Season Begins at Newport Charter Show 2026
The Newport Charter Yacht Show may be smaller than Monaco or Antigua, but it remains one of the most important events in the North American charter calendar. For yachts preparing to spend the summer in New England waters, it’s where charter brokers get their first proper look at the season’s fleet. This year’s lineup ranges from expedition-ready family yachts to brand-new luxury flagships, with Lady Beth, Avalon and Back Nine and a Half among the most anticipated arrivals.
