Where Superyachts Meet Speed: Monaco Grand Prix on the Water

For one weekend each year, Monaco becomes the epicentre of two worlds: Formula 1 and superyachts. As the world’s fastest drivers navigate the tight corners of the Circuit de Monaco, Port Hercule becomes home to some of the most remarkable boats on the water. With berths overlooking key sections of the track, these Monaco Grand Prix yachts become floating residences, offering one of the most exclusive views in motorsports and turning the harbour into a spectacle to rival the racing.

From impressive engineering projects to award-winning charter yachts, these were some of the standout yachts drawing attention during the 2026 Monaco Grand Prix.

Monaco Grand Prix Yachts: 2026

KISMET | 122m | Lürssen

Few yachts commanded more attention in Monaco this year than Kismet. Delivered by Lürssen in 2024, the 122-metre superyacht dominated the harbour with its striking profile and vast scale, and it was one of the largest yachts present during the race weekend.

Designed for both private use and charter, Kismet combines resort-style amenities with dramatic styling. Expansive decks, wellness facilities and extensive entertainment spaces have made it one of the most sought-after yachts on the charter market and a natural focal point during one of Monaco’s most glamorous events.

BREAKTHROUGH | 118.8m | Feadship

Fresh from winning Motor Yacht of the Year at the 2026 World Superyacht Awards, the Feadship-built Breakthrough has become famous as the world’s first superyacht to utilise liquid hydrogen fuel cells. Its arrival in Monaco amongst the Monaco Grand Prix yachts brought a welcome reminder that innovation remains as important to yachting as luxury.

Beyond the technology, Breakthrough features a library, wellness centre, cinema and the much-discussed Nemo Lounge, a submerged observation space positioned close to the waterline. During Grand Prix week, it was among the most talked-about Monaco Grand Prix yachts in the harbour.

RENAISSANCE | 112m | Freire

At 112 metres, Renaissance brought both scale and charter appeal to Port Hercule. Built by Spanish shipyard Freire, the six-deck yacht has established itself as one of the largest and most luxurious vessels available for charter. Those on board can enjoy everything from a sushi bar and cinema to extensive wellness facilities, while the owner’s suite benefits from its own private outdoor spaces.

Its elegant profile and sheer size ensured it remained one of the harbour’s standout attractions throughout the weekend.

LIONHEART | 90m | Benetti

A familiar presence on the Mediterranean circuit, Lionheart once again drew attention during Monaco Grand Prix week.

Built by Benetti, the yacht’s dark hull and classic profile have made it instantly recognisable among the fleet of Monaco Grand Prix yachts. While many newer yachts compete through scale or innovation, Lionheart continues to exemplify timeless design and understated grandeur.

Its expansive decks also make her particularly well suited to Monaco, where outdoor entertaining and trackside views are very much part of the experience.

FAITH | 97m | Feadship

Another yacht attracting attention as one of the Monaco Grand Prix yachts this year was Faith. Built by Feadship, the yacht is known for combining elegant exterior styling with a strong focus on guest experience. Features include a glass-bottom swimming pool, generous wellness facilities and large exterior spaces designed for entertaining.

During Grand Prix weekend, Faith’s sleek profile and prominent berth ensured it remained among the harbour’s most photographed yachts.

Monaco’s Floating Grandstand

The Monaco Grand Prix remains unique in the sporting calendar due to the event unfolding around the harbour itself. While most races are viewed from grandstands, Monaco’s most coveted vantage points float on the water.

As cars speed past the harbourfront, the Monaco Grand Prix yachts become private hospitality venues, social hubs and front-row seats to one of the world’s most prestigious sporting events. It is a convergence of engineering excellence, luxury travel and Riviera glamour which is hard to locate elsewhere.

Monaco Grand Prix Yachts

For yacht enthusiasts, the race weekend offers a rare opportunity to see some of the industry’s most significant vessels gathered in a single location. Whether celebrated for their innovation, design or scale, these yachts help make Monaco Grand Prix week one of the most spectacular moments in the Mediterranean season.
